PlayStation has just dropped the latest PS5 System update which will be rolled out in stages globally, and most importantly, it brings back the custom classic themes as PlayStation promised earlier this year.
The themes are based on the original PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 both in how they look and with custom sounds as well. The original PS1 bootup screen will not return by the looks of it, which makes sense.

The update also brings a new audio focus feature which can be controlled in the control center. This allows you to set your PS5 to different voice presets depending on what you’re playing. Each of the presets can be changed between three different levels of strength.
- Boost Low Pitch: Amplify low-frequency sounds like roaring engines and rumbling noises.
- Boost Voices: Amplify voice chats, character voices, and other middle-frequency sounds.
- Boost High Pitch: Amplify high-frequency sounds like footsteps and metallic noises.
- Boost Quiet Sounds: Amplify low-volume sounds in a wide range of frequencies.
