If rumours are to be believed, AYANEO is set to release another version of the AYANEO Pocket Air, it’s upcoming Android handheld with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
This would make it significantly more powerful than the previously announced MediaTek Dimensity 1200 version.
Rumours had been swirling about this major advancement, before AYANEO begun teasing a ‘new pinnacle S chip’ that is a collaboration with a world leading brand in the Android gaming space.

Just as a reminder, the AYANEO Pocket Air is the company’s first Android handheld and it’s set to launch in an Indiegogo campaign later this month.
The handheld features a stunning retro design, is just 17mm thick and weighs only 380g. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display.
Just like most other AYANEO handhelds, it has hall sensing joysticks and hall triggers, a six-asis gyroscope and a 7350mAh battery. It also has the great cooling system that is found in the other AYANEO Air range.
