Apple has done one of its stealth reveals, this time revealing an updated iPad Mini with new colours and improved performance.
The new iPad Mini has the A17 Pro chip (same as the iPhone 15 Pro) which means it has a 2x faster Neural Engine, and this means that it’ll also be able to take advantage of Apple Intelligence when it launches in the next month or so.
The updated iPad Mini can also take advantage of the recently released Apple Pencil Pro, which you can read more about in our recent iPad Pro review.
As far as other changes, 12MP wide back camera now supports Smart HDR 4, and you get double the storage (128GB) at the entry level price. There’s also new colours in blue and purple in addition to the existing starlight and space grey.
