The Apple Vision Pro Release Date Has Been Revealed

Soon but not for Australia

Apple isn’t missing out on the CES 2024 thunder by today announcing the Apple Vision Pro release date. The spatial computing headset is launching exclusively in the US on February 2nd with pre-orders set to go live on January 19th.

We now know that the device will come with 256gb of internal storage and as far as accessories are concerned, each unit will include a Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band Light Seal, two Light Seal Cushions, an Apple Vision Pro Cover for the front of the device, Polishing Cloth, Battery, USB-C Charge Cable, and USB-C Power Adapter.

Apple Vision Pro App Store

The device will be available for $3,499 USD ($~5,206 AUD), and the reading inserts will be available for $99 USD (~$147 AUD) whilst the optical inserts will be available for $149 USD (~$221 AUD).

Interestingly enough, Apple adjusted the battery of the device upwards with it now lasting two hours for regular use as well as up to 2 and a half hours for video watching.

We also got our first look at apps that will be available including Apple TV+, Disney+ and Max for steaming videos/movies and as well as the 250+ games available on Apple Arcade, new spatial games including Game Room, What the Golf? and Super Fruit Ninja will be able to be played in new immersive experiences.

APPLE VISION PRO AUSTRALIAN RELEASE DATE

Unfortunately, there still isn’t a release date for the Apple Vision Pro in Australia or anywhere else in the world aside from the US. It’s likely to be a stock issue as well as Apple’s ability to properly train masses off staff across the world to do a global launch. We definitely think that we’ll see Apple add other countries in the months to come.
