Apple took to its September event stage to announce the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
The device will now go up to 3000 nits, to be viewed in even the most brightest of situations, with a new watch face shown off that takes advantage of that entire big display. It has that same all-day battery life with 36 hours of use in regular mode and 72 hours in low power mode.
You can connect Bluetooth accessories to measure cadence, speed and power. The Apple Watch Series 2 has 95% recycled titanium which follows Apple’s reduction targets.
Apple showed off a new gesture for Ultra 2 called double tab where you use your thumb and forefinger together in a slight clicking motion to perform the primary action in an app such as answering a call or hanging up. Apple says that it uses the neural engine to determine when there’s blood movement between your thumb and forefinger.
