ASUS has officially lifted the lid on its new ROG Phone 7 and Phone 7 Ultimate which are extremely focused on low power consumption through its vapor chamber design that allows heat dissipation efficiency by up to 168%.
The new phones have a two phone design and 3.2 GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processors which equate in them being 15% faster and 15% more power efficient than the previous generation.
Both phones support real-time hardware accelerated ray-tracing and have 165Hz Samsung AMOLED displays with an increased brightness of 1,500 Nits. It’s said that the phones have 50% louder speakers for even more immersion when gaming.
The Phone 7 Ultimate has something called ROG Vision, which is essentially a unique colour display on the back of the phone that highlights events such as charging status, incoming calls and more with the ability to create your own animations.

ASUS has also announced the AeroActive Cooler which allows a constant flow of air for even more gaming power and power efficiency. It also adds a subwoofer, a kickstand and also has that signature ROG RGB lighting for even more personalisation.
The price of the ASUS ROG Phone 7 starts at $999 USD (~$1,429 AUD), but an Australian release date and price have not yet been confirmed.
