In addition to the AYANEO Slide and AYANEO Flip/AYANEO Flip touch that were announced earlier this year, AYANEO has announced four new retro inspired products inspired by the likes of the Macintosh, Super Nintendo and Gameboy.
AYANEO RETRO MINI PC AM01
The AYANEO Retro Mini PC AM01 is the first Mini PC that AYANEO is releasing. It’s coming later this month and the design is inspired by the Macintosh. Whilst we don’t have a heap of information about the actual internals yet, it will obviously plug into a monitor and act as a Mini PC, hopefully with some pretty decent specs and power.
AYANEO Retro Mini PC AM02
The Retro Mini PC AM02 is a little bit more advanced. It’s based on Famicon (or NES) and has USB and 3.5mm audio ports hidden under the cartridge slot. It also has a screen on the outside of the unit which can show a click or frame rates or other important information.
AYANEO Pocket DMG
This is the first AYANEO device to take the popular portrait Gameboy formfactor. It’s presumed that it will have an Android design and it seems as though it will have a D-Pad, face buttons as well as an analogue stick which should allow for some pretty advanced emulation in this iconic formfactor.
AYANEO RETRO POWER BANK
Based on the Super Nintendo (or Super Famicon), Ayaneo will release a power bank that ties in nicely with the products announced and other AYANEO products. AYANEO has also said it will continue to release other retro inspired accessories.
We’ll keep you posted as we get more information about the price, release date and more information including the internals of each of these products, but it definitely seems like AYANEO is not slowing down on announcing new products, and taking on the retro market.
