The big story in terms of charging out of IFA has been the new Qi2 charging standard which is basically Apple’s MagSafe protocol that is now opened for others to use.
Belkin is wasting no time taking advantage of this announcing a range of new wireless chargers that are all able to charge devices at up to 15W.
This includes the three below products:
Belkin also announced the new BoostCharge Pro 140W 4-port GaN wall charger which would absolutely be a nice charger to have in any tech pack.
Another exciting announcement is the BoostCharge Hybrid Wall Charger + Power Bank which does exactly as the name suggests and merges a powerbank with a wall charger, having just enough juice in its 5,000 MaA power bank to save you when you’re not near a power point.
The announcement that has me most excited though is the Connect 5-in-1 Thunderbolt 4 hub. It’s a slim hub that has four Thunderbolt 4 ports as well as one USB-A port offering up to 40 GBPS data speeds, dual monitor support and power delivery up to 96W.
All of these products will be making their way to Australia early next year.
