Belkin’s New Products Are Made From 72% Recycled Plastics

Belkin has announced that it will begin to replace some of its most popular products with a recycled plastics version in Australia starting today.

Each of the products in this line are made up of 72% post consumer recycled plastics and housed in 100% plastic free packaging. Products will be gradually changed over time with no increase in price to customers.

To begin with, the products will include the Belkin Connect USB-C to 4 Port USB-C hub, the Belkin BoostCharge 30w Fast Charger and the Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank 10K.

Once the recycled update to the product has been introduced in stores, packaging will denote this new efficient line with two phrases ‘made with recycled plastic products’ and ‘100%’ plastic-free packaging’.

It’s also been revealed that Australia has helped Belkin achieve a 56% year-on-year decrease in plastic use since 2019 in packaging globally.
