The flagship Google Pixel line has included two phones in recent years, a smaller model and a Pro model that is larger, but it seems like with the Google Pixel 9 Pro this is set to change.
According to a report by 91mobiles, Google will release the Pixel 9 Pro in a smaller and larger version and then a smaller Google Pixel 9. This means that there will be a Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and a Pixel 9 Pro XL. The Pixel 9 Pro/Pro XL will have three cameras whilst the Pixel 9 will have two.
The Pixel 9 will have a 6.03-inch display, the 9 Pro will have a 6.1-inch display and the 9 Pro will have a 6.5-inch display if the leaks are to be believed.
All three phones will have a similar design with a flat edge design similar to the design of the iPhone. It’s also said that the phones will feature Qi2 wireless charging which is great for compatibility with a huge new range of wireless chargers.
We’d expect the Google Pixel 9 and 9 Pro to be revealed and released in October this year, whilst it’s expect we’ll see a Google Pixel 8a in the coming months as well.
I absolutely loved the Google Pixel 8 Pro saying in my review: “The Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro take advantage of years of refinements to provide what is one of the best Android smart phone experiences to ever exist. With improved cameras, super bright displays and incredible AI smarts, not even a price increase can stop these phones from being a must-have for those wanting the latest in smart phone technology.”
We’ll keep you posted on anymore advancements with the Google Pixel 9 and Google Pixel 9 Pro when they’re released later this year.
