Google took to the MadeByGoogle stage to announce four new phones and two new watches, but it also announced a big improvement to the Pixel Buds Pro in the brand new Google Pixel Buds Pro 2.
The first device to feature Google’s new Tensor A1 chip, they’re 27% smaller with a new twist-to-adjust stabiliser that allows for ultimate comfort and security. You can adjust one way to tighten them in when exercising or twist in the other direction for a more relaxed fit.
Active Noise Cancellation has been improved with a new Silent Seal 2.0 which adaptors to the environment up to 3 million times per seconds and also adapts to your ears to cancel out up to twice as much midband noise as before.
The new Buds Pro 2 have larger 11 m drivers for better bass and a new high-frequency chamber tor smooth treble with the new A1 chip adding in an additional part for music allowing it to bypass the noise cancelling.
The microphones have been improved and there’s new conversation detection that uses AI to tell you when to start speaking going back and forth between active noise cancellation.
The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 will cost $379 AUD and release on September 26th in Porcelain, Hazel, Wintergreen and Peony.
