A bunch of new Midnight Black PS5 accessories dropped last week including the PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, Pulse Explore earbuds and Pulse Elite headset. Outside of the PS5 Pro faceplates and a DualSense Charging Station, this pretty much means the entire PS5 collection can now be purchased in black.
I got hands-on with all of them and obviously all of the products look a lot more sleek in black, but surprisingly, there’s some core differences between the black and white versions as well. Mainly, the two audio accessories now come with a grey case. The Pulse Elite comes with a grey felt hard case that even comes with a component for cables and the Pulse Explore buds now come with a little grey felt case that’s attached to the new black case and it also has a PlayStation branded wrist-strap too.

As for the DualSense Edge and PlayStation Portal, obviously the Edge comes in all-black with a matching matte black case, and the PlayStation Portal looks even better in black with that fantastic 8-inch LCD screen now popping more than ever against the black controller.
