Lenovo announced three new Lenovo Legion GO handhelds yesterday, and now we know the Australian release dates for two of them, and the price for one.
Lenovo is releasing two Lenovo Legion Go S handhelds, which both use the Z2 Go chip and now come with controls that can’t be removed (like they could on the original Legion Go) and a smaller 8-inch 120hz display.
The Lenovo Legion Go S in white runs Windows 11 on the Ryzen Z2 Go or Z1 Extreme chips with up to 32GB of 7500 DDR5 ram and a 55.5wh battery life. This version will release in January in Australia and will cost $1,299 AUD.
The black Lenovo Legion Go S is the first to be powered by SteamOS. This means that out of the box it runs and boots into the exact same UI that the Steam Deck does allowing for full access of your Steam Deck library and native cloud saving.
This version will release in May, 2025 in Australia and a local price hasn’t yet been confirmed but it will cost $499 USD (~$804 AUD), so it should be cheaper than the white Windows 11 version.
No pricing has been confirmed for the Lenovo Legion GO 2 yet which has an OLED display and the new AMD Z2 Extreme processor, but that should be coming in the coming months.
