Insta360 has revealed the follow-up to its hugely popular Insta360 Flow (which I use every day). It’s called the Insta360 Flow Pro, and whilst it looks quite similar from the outside, the internals are totally re-done.
It’s the first gimbal to use Apple DockKit meaning that you can use the tracking technology within any camera app on your iPhone, and not just the Insta360 app. This uses an extremely simple NFC tapping technology to sync to your phone.
There’s also a tracking right light that shows when you’re natively tracking so that there’s absolutely no doubts as well as 360 infinite pan tracking, so that you’re never not in frame. There’s now also a MagSafe adaptor that makes snapping your phone on and off a lot easier.
Just in case you weren’t aware, the Insta360 Flow Pro has fantastic subject tracking as well as really great stabilisation and you’re able to add extras such as an attachable light to make yourself look even better, with features such as a hotshoe connection and built in power bank to charge other devices as well.
