Several LG TVs Have Been Recalled In Australia Due To Fears Of Tipping

LG Australia has announced that it has recalled two 2022 model 86-inch TVs including the 86NANO75SQA and 86UQ9000PSD.

It is reported on the Product Safety website that these models may tip over if the TV stand cracks or becomes unstable, likely due to the size and weight of the display.

LG goes on to say that “the stand may crack or tip over if the stand is not properly installed using all 6 screws or if the screws are not correctly tightened”.

The company is offering a replacement TV stand to consumers at not cost. If the TV is wall mounted there is no need for these TVs to be recalled/replaced.

These TVs were available for purchase from April 21st until December 19th at retailers such as Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, JB HI-Fi, Bing Lee and LG’s online store.
