Aussie smart home company LIFX has released two new smart lights, the LIFX Outdoor String Light and the LIFX Flex. In case you haven’t used LIFX products before, they don’t need a hub and instead use your Wi-Fi network.
LIFX OUTDOOR STRING LIGHT
The LIFX Outdoor String Light contains 12 LED lights that are all uniquely controllable strung across 7.3m in length and up to three kits can be connected together. They have a 3.2m length weather-proof power cable.
The first batch has already sold out but the second batch (shipping in December) is available for pre-order now. They’re currently on sale for $215.99 and can be pre-ordered HERE.
LIFX NEON FLEX
The LIFX Neon Flex is in-line with other LIFX products in that it is supposed to be a show piece light feature in any broom of the house. It’s 2m in length and made out of a bendable light rope with a matte silicon, soft touch finish that will blend around objects easily. It can outline ceilings, floors, stairs or any other surface. It has 24 addressable colour zones so that you can customise it as much as you’d like.
