Apple has updated the latest Mac Mini model for the first time since it was introduced in 2020. It now has either an M2 or M2 Pro chip, skipping past the M1 Pro and M1 Max.
The M2 version has an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU with up to 24GB of unified memory whilst the M2 Pro version has an up-to 12-core CPU, up to 19-core GPU and up to 32GB of memory.
Apple says that the M2 version is 3.5x faster than a core i7 at Photoshop whilst the M2 Pro version is 4.7x faster.
The 2023 Mac Mini has Wi-Fi 6E, but it seems to be missing the HDMI 2.1 features of the newly announced MacBook Pro M2 Pro/M2 Max models.
The 2023 Mac Mini will be available on February 2nd with pre-orders available now.
