The MSI Claw Has Leaked Ahead Of Reveal

After MSI started teasing its new Windows handheld yesterday, the device has now leaked online.

It’s called the MSI Claw and as expected, it will be powered by Intel’s brand new Meteor Lake processors which are surprised to perform well, but still a surprise given every other major handheld device uses AMD.

For comparison, it’s using the Core Ultra 7 155H which offers double the amount of cores and threads than the Z1 Extreme (ROG Ally/Legion GO) both use.

Whilst the formfactor doesn’t look too dissimilar to that of the ASUS ROG Ally, and we’d expect it to have a similar 7-inch screen, it will have double the memory at 32GB of ram, which is definitely a nice addition as games get even more needy as the months roll on.

Without any doubt, we should see the full reveal of the MSI Claw next week at CES 2024. You can find all of the press conference times HERE.
