This might go down as one of the biggest leaks in the history of gaming.
Brand new Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox Controller models just leaked courtesy of the FTC. It appears that Microsoft had sent across documents that it had intended to keep hidden and redacted, but a simple download of the file when opening in Adobe Reader opened up to reveal a 20+ page document revealing the next 8 years of plans for Xbox.
The new Xbox Series X model codenamed Sebile is due to release in November 2024. It will be all-digital, smaller than the current Xbox Series X, have a 2TB SSD, a USB-C front port, improved Wi-Fi and lower power usage.

The new Xbox Series S will launch in August 2024 according to the report and will also include lower power usage as well as improved Wi-Fi.
Both consoles will come with a new controller that is currently codenamed Sebile. It allows you to connect to multiple devices for Cloud gaming, has improved haptic feedback as well as accelerometer, quieter buttons, a lift to wake feature, a rechargeable battery and new modular thumbsticks. This will release in May 2024.
Obviously, this document is a little bit old, so these dates could have changed but the mid-gen refresh for the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and controller all look to be a lock.

You can view the entire 20+ page document over on The Verge. It goes into the next-gen Xbox that will release in 2028 and seemingly merge cloud-on board gaming with its ARM processor as well as other upcoming new Xbox launches such as Console Design Lab.
Obviously, it’s a shame for this information to get out in this way, but it’s going to be an exciting few years for Xbox and Xbox gamers, and we’ll keep you posted on all the happenings.
