Nintendo Switch Consoles Just Got A Huge Price Increase In The US Alongside All Switch 1/2 Accessories

Nintendo has said that it is likely to happen and it has delivered, raising the price of the original Nintendo Switch consoles, all Nintendo Switch 1/2 accessories including controllers, Amiibo, NSO controllers and even Nintendo Alarmo getting a price increase.

The new price of the Nintendo Switch OLED is $400 USD ($617 AUD) up from $350 USD, the original Switch is now $340 USD ($525 AUD) which is a $40 USD increase and the Switch Lite is $230 USD ($355 AUD) which is a $30 increase

All accessories across the Nintendo Switch product line got a price increase of $5-10 USD (in addition to most of them also receiving a price increase before launch as well).

It’s unclear if the Nintendo Switch 2 will receive a price increase in the US, but with the Nintendo Switch OLED now costing only $50 USD less than the Nintendo Switch 2, it does seem extremely inevitable that this would be the case. It’s also unclear if this will affect any other regions as Nintendo looks to counter tariffs into the US.
