Oakley’s Meta HSTN Smart Glasses Have Been Revealed With Higher Quality Recording And A Larger Battery

Following on from the wildly successful Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, the next partnership has been revealed in Oakley’s Meta HSTN range.

Not only do they come with a brand new design, but they also comer with a larger battery that can last up to eight hours of typical use, higher resolution video recording at a 3K resolution which is a huge one for me personally, and you can now ask Meta AI for music that matches the scenery and get recommendations based on what you see.

When it comes to the design, there’s a Limited Edition set releasing first and then there’s a full collection including black, clear, brown and other designs at a cheaper price point globally including in Australia in the coming months.

OAKLEY META HSTN AUSTRALIAN PRICE AND RELEASE DATE

The Limited Edition Oakley Meta HSTN smart glasses will be up for pre-order at Meta, Oakley and JB Hi-Fi for $789 AUD on July 11th

The full collection of Oakley Meta HSTN smart glasses will be available over the coming months at $629 AUD including the below designs:

  • Oakley Meta HSTN Warm Grey with PRIZM™ Ruby Lenses

  • Oakley Meta HSTN Black with PRIZM™ Polar Black Lenses

  • Oakley Meta HSTN Brown Smoke with PRIZM™ Polar Deep Water Lenses

  • Oakley Meta HSTN Black with Transitions Amethyst Lenses

  • Oakley Meta HSTN Clear with Transitions Grey Lenses

  • Oakley Meta HSTN Black with Clear Lenses

I’ve spent quite a bit of time with the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses and as a concept, they are phenomenal with literally my only gripe being the video quality, so to know that this has mow been bumped to 3K is a huge improvement for those wanting to capture hands-free content on the go.
