Peloton has today announced Lanebreak Tread, which is a gaming-inspired mode on its ‘Tread’ treadmill that looks to be inspired by the likes of Beat Saber and Guitar Hero.
The new mode will require the user to match and sustain their incline and speed based on animated cues on the tablet along to the soundtrack.
When entering a hill in the virtual world, the Tread will adjust its incline automatically to replicate what is happening on screen.
Similarly, the Pacer mechanic is designed to reward users for following the interval workout design with updated visuals and controls as well as a range of difficulty options.
