Samsung’s 2024 OLED TVs Are Brighter, Glare-Free And Come In More Sizes

A big improvement!

Samsung has announced its 2024 TV line-up at CES 2024 and without doubt, the highlight are once again the OLEDs which are somehow managing to improve on the already insanely impressive S95C that I reviewed this year and continue to use.

The Samsung S95D OLED will use a new OLED Glare Free technology that preserves colour accuracy whilst reducing reflection even in day-light. The screen is somehow also 20% brighter than the S95C which is super impressive given the brightness of that display. You can see just how well the glare-free technology works in this article by The Verge HERE.

Just like last year’s model, it will come with a One-Connect box as well as 144hz refresh rate capability.

Samsung will also release the S90D and S85C which will come in sizes ranging from 42inches all the way to 83-inches for those that want the ultimate sizes. In case you missed it, Samsung and PDP also announced that they are releasing a gaming controller specifically for Samsung TVs.

Samsung 8K

Samsung also announced its 2024 QLED range which is once again led by the 8K Neo QLED that has a much faster processor dubbed the NQ8 AI Gen3 with neutral networks increasing improving eightfold from 64 networks to 512GB which should make for better upscaling.

When it comes to lifestyle TVs, the 2024 The Frame will reduce energy costs by up to 10% with variety refresh rate technology and the Premiere 8K is the world’s first projector offering wireless connectivity.

New soundbars will be released including the high-end HW-Q990D whihc has 11.1.4 channel support as well as 120hz pass through with its HDMI ports. It’s once again releasing a super slim soundbar in the HW-S800D, but the most exciting announcement is the music frame, which is exactly as it sounds, a speaker that is based on The Frame which looks like a frame with a speaker behind it.

In terms of super advanced technology, Samsung showed off the new Micro LD technology which looks like a transparent glass. Once it comes to home and B2b environments should allow for a viewing experience unlike anything that we’ve seen in the TV space, but that might be a little while off yet.
