Just a month after announcing that the Samsung Galaxy Ring would be coming to Australia, Samsung has today announced that it is out in Australia as of right now.
In Australia, the Samsung Galaxy ring will be available for $699 AUD. It’s available in 9 size options (5 to 13) and in three colours: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold. You can grab it exclusively from the Samsung website HERE.
Samsung has also announced an extended peace of mind return policy in Australia (like it does for its other wearables) where you can change your mind for a full refund for 30 days after wearing the product, if you’re not happy.
The Galaxy Ring allows you to track a bunch of health metrics including sleep, fitness and wellness providing more comfort than wearing a smart watch whilst performing activities such as working out and sleeping.
Samsung will put a sizing kit online as part of the checkout process, which comes free as long as you order a Galaxy Ring. You can find out about the process below:
- Pick a size, try it on. Check the position of the three sensors on the bottom and the indicator on the outer surface. Wear the sample ring so that the sensors are facing up. Make sure the indicator is also on the palm side.
- When you find one that feels right, move your fingers around. Finger sizes can change from day to night, so it’s recommended to keep the ring on for at least 24 hours. Go about your day and sleep through the night.
- If your finger feels comfortable after 24 hours, that’s your Galaxy Ring size.
