Samsung Gaming Hub launched on Samsung TVs a year or so ago, but it’s finally come to Australian TVs.
For those that aren’t aware, Gaming Hub adds a new section to your TV and seperates out the likes of the Xbox Cloud Gaming app, Twitch, Nvidia GeForce now and also brings in a YouTube section for the latest gaming trailers, and also pulls together all the games from those streaming services into one hub.
That’s not all though. It also will recognise your PS5 and Xbox Series X as well as your Nintendo Switch and pull them to this section of your TV rather than leaving them your media tab with the likes of Netflix and any other HDMI inputs that aren’t gaming related.
To get access to the Samsung Gaming Hub, you need to have a 2023 or 2022 smart TV and update to the latest firmware.
SAMSUNG GAMING HUB IS ON THE BELOW TVS:
- Select 2022 OLED/NEO QLED TVs
- Neo QLED 8K TVs (QN900C)
- Samsung OLED TVs (S95C, S90C)
- Neo QLED 4K TVs (QN95C/QN90C, QN85C/Q80C, Q60C)
- UHD TV (CU8000)
- QLED TV (Q60B/C)
- The Frame 32” lifestyle TV (LS03C)
- Smart Monitor M-Series (M80C, M70C, M50C)
- Odyssey Smart Gaming Monitors (Odyssey Ark, Odyssey OLED G95SC, Odyssey OLED G85NC, Odyssey Neo G70B, and Odyssey G65B)
- High Resolution Monitor (S90PC).
This is a great new feature as not only does it let you access Xbox games in the cloud with just a controller, it’ll also stop your partner or other family members accidentally selecting your PS5 or Xbox Series X from the media screen and having it turn on automatically due to HDMI CEC.
If you’re looking for a new Samsung TV in 2023, my recommendation is still absolutely the S95C QD-OLED.
@shannongrixti Being able to play Starfield and other Xbox games directly on your TV without a console is a big win for Xbox #Xbox #XboxCloudGaming #Starfield #XboxSeriesX #XboxGamePass #Samsung @Samsungau @Xbox ANZ
