In addition to the game-changing Sonos Ace headset, Sonos has also updated its smallest speaker, the Sonos Roam 2.
It’s now available in Olive, Sunset, Wave, Black and White for $299 (available to order here) and in terms of improvements, there’s now a dedicated Bluetooth button of the device meaning that it can bow be paired with your mobile phone and other Bluetooth devices out of the box.
In terms of other changes, there’s a minor change to the logo which now matches the colour of the device, and it still features the Sound Swap feature that allows you to pair a Bluetooth device such as a turntable and then send that signal to your entire speaker system.
Unlike the Move 2 and Sonos Era 100/300, there’s no line-in on the USB-C port but that’s to be expected. In terms of battery life, you get a 10 hour battery life making it perfect to chuck in your bag and take anywhere.
