8BitDo has announced a follow-up to its very popular 8Bitdo Pro 2 controller. It’s called the 8Bit Pro 3 and the only thing it retains is its symmetrical design with a bunch of huge improvements across the board.
The controller has TMR sticks, magnetic swappable buttons which let you change between Nintendo and Xbox configurations, swappable analogue sticks with arcade sticks shown as options, extra customisable buttons on the top and back of the controller as well as a charging dock that can detect when the controller is placed as well as 2.4g support with a dongle hidden away.
The controller comes in purple, grey and white is compatible with the Nintendo Switch 1/2, PC, Android and Steam and it will be available in August for $70 USD (~$106 AUD) and we’ll let you know when Australian details are available, but you can pre-order it from Amazon US here.
