The Analogue 3D Has Been Revealed And Will Play Original Nintendo 64 Games At 4K

Analogue has announced its latest system and it’s the Analogue 3D, a console that brings the Nintendo 64 into 2024.

This isn’t emulating, but rather playing the original carts and upscaling them to 4K (1ox the resolution of the original 64). It’s region free, has Bluetooth LE, Dualband Wi-Fi and 4 original controller ports as well as a new operating system that will allow for save states, screenshots and all that good modern stuff. There’s also a number of different display modes that can mimic the original look of the console if you prefer that.

To go with the Analogue 3D, the company has also partnered with 8BitDo to create the 8BitDo 64 controller which is wireless with the six button design. It has all-effect joy-sticks, vibration and can also work with the Nintendo Switch, Windows and Android.

Both of these products come in Black and White and will be available to pre-order at 02:00am AEDT on October 22nd before shipping in Q1 2025. The Analogue 3D will cost $249.99 USD (~$374 AUD) and the 8BitDo 64 controller will cost $39.99 USD (~$59 AUD). You’ll be able to pre-order HERE.
