It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of the year already, but strap in because it’s here. Apple has overnight announced the iPhone event which it is saying which will be “awe dropping’.
The event is taking place in just under two weeks on Wednesday, September 10th here in Australia.

The iPhone 17 event is taking place in Australia on Wednesday, September 10th at the below times:
- 03:00am AEST (Melbourne/Sydney/Hobart/Canberra/Brisbane)
- 02:30am ACST (Adelaide, Darwin)
- 01:00am AWST (Perth)
- 05:00 NZST (Wellington)

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE IPHONE 17 EVENT
If rumours are correct, we’re expecting to see at least three iPhone 17 models this year including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Air. The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to have a brand new back design whilst the iPhone 17 Air will also look totally different and be slimmer than any recent iPhone.
It also seems inevitable that we’ll see the Apple Watch Series 11 and AirPods Pro 3 rumours have also been heating up too.
WHEN WILL IPHONE 17 RELEASE
If Apple’s usual announce to release schedule pulls through, we can expect that the iPhone 17 range will release on Friday, September 19th, so we’re less than a month away from new iPhones.
