My Arcade has announced a bunch of new Atari products that will appeal to the retro gamers each with their own little twist on the classic console.
The Atari Gamestation Go is a 7-inch handheld with over 200 built in games, as well as an integrated paddle, trak-ball and number pad as well as the expected usual controls that you’d find in a modern handheld.
The games include Centipede: Recharged, Balls of Steel Pinball, Berzerk, Frenzy, and PAC-MAN, alongside beloved Atari hits such as Asteroids, Breakout, Missile Command, Pong (Video Olympics), Tempest, and Warlords among others.
It’s set to launch in Q3 for $149.99 USD (~$250 AUD). I got to go hands-on with it at CES and it’s shaping up to be a great one.
The Atari GameStation Mega was also announced. This is a tabletop arcade cabinet with a wood construction and a large 10.1-inch display. This also includes all of the control methods needed to play all of the iconic Atari games. This will retail for $249.99 USD (~$400 AUD).
You’ll also be able to buy an Atari Gamestation gamepad as well as an Arcade stick which will be compatible with both products.
