AYANEO lifted the lid off the killer feature of the AYANEO 3 overnight and it’s set to have a new Magic Module that will let you swap out both the analogue stick/d-pad component as well as the controls on the right side.
So far, six different components have been revealed ranging from a standard d-pad/analogue stick combo, an 8-way d-pad/analogue stick combo as well as a track-pad/split d-pad combo. On the right side, there’s options for a 6-button layout, another trackpad as well as a standard analogue stick/four button combo.
It looks as though the components will easily swap by magnets, and should also allow us to easily turn the components around for those that prefer analogue sticks to be symmetrical, or maybe prefer the d-pad to be in a different position.
We’ll learn more about the AYANEO 3 tomorrow, but we know that it will come with the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 or the Ryzen 7 8840U APUs depending on which you prefer and we know that it’ll come in black and white with both OLED and LCD options as well.
