Following on from the AYANEO Flip 1S, AYANEO has also announced the first dual-screen pocket Android handheld in the AYANEO Pocket DS.
The handheld is thinner and lighter than its Windows counterpart and has a 7-inch OLED 165hz display and a 5-inch secondary LCD screen as well. As far as the processor goes, it has a Snapdragon G3x Gen 3 processor which will be more than capable of high-end Android gaming and everything else.
The handheld has smart dual-screen functionality with a three finger swipe allowing you to instantly switch apps or the ability to quickly turn off the bottom screen to save on battery.
Just like on the Window version of the Flip, AYANEO has created software to take advantage of that secondary screen for tasks like managing FPS, changing controls and a bunch of other tasks that you’d otherwise have to leave your game for.
The design of the handheld features a CNC-Machined full-metal top case, a stepless adjustable hinge and a massive 8,000 MaH battery which will mean a huge battery life when taking advantage of Android.
