Beats has been quietly refreshing its line-up of products with the Beats Solo 4 dropping last month, but I think it’ll be the Beats Solo Buds that just dropped in Australia today that really make a splash.
They come in at $129 and are available in matte black, arctic purple, storm grey and a stunning transparent red, and at that price point, they’re going to be hard to beat.
Whilst they don’t have noise cancelling, they have a battery life of up to 18 hours with one hour of playback from a 5-minute quick charge, and because Beats is owned by Apple, they feature that fantastic easy pairing technology as well as quick swapping between devices super seamlessly. They also have Find My support, which makes losing them that little bit harder.
Obviously sound is a little bit harder to judge without using them, but we expect to get hands-on in the near future, so will let you know how they sound. You can find the full range at JB Hi-FI below:
