Nintendo America has dropped the first Nintendo Switch 2 commercial and it features none other than Paul Rudd recreating his iconic SNES commercial from the 90s.
The commercial is a near one for one re-creation of the commercial with Paul Rudd holding up the Nintendo Switch 2 and jamming it into the dock, just like he did with a SNES cartridge in the 1991 commercial.
It then features the actor playing Mario Kart World with some special guests as he runs through the features of the Switch 2 and the game. It’s a pretty cool commercial and nice to see Nintendo recognise its history (and first ever console follow-up) as well. The original commercial was titled ‘now you’re playing with power’ and the new one is suitably called ‘now you’re playing together”.
