The Google Pixel 9 Pro And Pixel 9 Pro Fold Have Been Revealed Following Leaks

Google had announced that it would be announcing its 2024 phones much, much earlier this year in Mid August rather than its October reveal event, but they’ve revealed its two flagships phones today following leaks that showed off the entire four phone range with teardowns, their exact battery sizes and more.

As rumoured, the Google Pixel 9 Pro has a new raised camera bump that looks absolutely stunning, whilst the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has that same raised camera bump that makes it look a lot more premium. Alongside the design reveal of both phones, Google also showed off Gemini running on both of the phones which is expected to be a big feature next month.

Just as a reminder for the first time the Pixel 9 Pro is set to come in a standard size to match the Pixel 9 as well as a 9 Pro XL, offering the better phone in two sizes for the first time ever.

In terms of exactly what we can expect to see next month:

  • Google Pixel 9
  • Google Pixel 9 Pro
  • Google Pixel 9 Pro XL
  • Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold
  • Google Pixel Watch 3

Those that pre-order either the Pixel 9 Pro or Pixel 9 Pro Fold when it’s announced next month will get a limited-edition collectible whilst stocks last. You can find out more about that here.

The Google Pixel 9 event will take place on August 14th at 3:00am AEST here in Australia. We’ll have all of the announcements as soon as they happen.
