The iPhone 15 And iPhone 15 Pro Are Officially Moving To USB-C

Apple confirmed at its September event that both its iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro will in-fact be moving to USB-C, doing away with its proprietary lightning connector.

USB-C will be used for both charging and data transfer, and Apple highlighted the fact that Appleā€™s entire range of devices including iPad and Mac could now be charged using the same cord.

Apple also announced a USB-C earbuds wired connector for those that still prefer a wired headphone.
