The iPhone 16 Event Has Been Announced And Here’s The Australian Times

Apple has announced its much anticipated iPhone 16 event. It’s titled “It’s Glowtime” with the event invite showing off the iconic new Siri animation. The event is taking place on September 10th, so there’s not much of a wait at all.

It’s expected that the event will show off the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max as well as the Apple Watch Series 10 with potential new AirPods announcements as well.

WHEN IS IPHONE 16 EVENT HAPPENING IN AUSTRALIAN TIMES

  • AEST (Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane/Canberra) – 03:00 Tuesday, September 10th
  • ACST (Adelaide/Darwin) – 2:30am Tuesday, September 10th
  • AWST (Perth) – 01:00am Tuesday, September 10th

You’ll be able to watch the iPhone 16 event HERE.

WHEN WILL IPHONE 16 RELEASE?

Now that we have the iPhone 16 event time, it seems almost certain that the iPhone 16 range will launch on Friday, September 20th.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM PHONE 16 PRO

It’s expected that we’ll see a new capture button for controlling the camera app, following on from the action button that was introduced last year. it’s also expected that we’ll see slightly larger displays with the iPhone 16 Pro having a 6.3-inch display and the 16 Pro Max having a 6.9-inch display. It’s also expected that the Apple Watch Series 10 will have a larger display as well.

Outside of this, I expect a lot of the focus to be on Apple Intelligence, which we saw unveiled at WWDC in June.
