The much-anticipated iPhone 16 event is finally happening in the next 12 hours. It’s titled “It’s Glowtime” with the event invite showing off the iconic new Siri animation. The event is taking place on September 10th, so there’s not much of a wait at all.
It’s expected that the event will show off the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max as well as the Apple Watch Series 10 with potential new AirPods announcements as well.
You’ll be able to watch the iPhone 16 event HERE.
Now that we have the iPhone 16 event time, it seems almost certain that the iPhone 16 range will launch on Friday, September 20th.
It’s expected that we’ll see a new capture button for controlling the camera app, following on from the action button that was introduced last year. it’s also expected that we’ll see slightly larger displays with the iPhone 16 Pro having a 6.3-inch display and the 16 Pro Max having a 6.9-inch display. It’s also expected that the Apple Watch Series 10 will have a larger display as well.
Also rumoured to be releasing is updated AirPods (Gen 4) as well as AirPods Max with USB-C support and some other features that have recently hit the AirPods line.
Outside of this, I expect a lot of the focus to be on Apple Intelligence, which we saw unveiled at WWDC in June.
