Apple has today dropped the public beta for iOS 18, iPadOS 18, MacOS Sequoia, WatchOS 11 and tvOS 18. Whilst these don’t include Apple Intelligence AI features just yet, they’re all set to change the way you use your devices in a variety of ways.
Probably the largest is iOS 18 which brings huge customisation options including the ability to move your icons anywhere as well as change the colours as well as big changes to the Photos app, control center and messaging which also includes RCS messaging. A personal favourite feature that I can’t wait to try is iPhone mirroring on the Mac.
As far as the new iPad OS goes, you can expect that to have many of the same features as the iPhone with the inclusion of a brand new calculator app as well. WatchOS has some smaller inclusions with rest days have been introduced as well as the new Apple Vitals app.
In case you were one of the early adopters of Apple Vision Pro, there’s some improvements there too, most importantly in the way you setup screens and can now have multiple virtual ones when your MacBook is connected.
