AYANEO has announced the price and release date for it’s upcoming modular handheld the AYANEO 3 and as far as the price goes, it’s extremely competitive with what’s out there at the moment.
The AYANEO 3 comes in a bunch of different configurations. The first comes down to the screen in which you can choose a 7-inch 144hz OLED display or a 7-inch 120hz LCD display with no price difference between the two.
Then it comes down to APU with the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U (a fairly standard choice at this point) or the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (the new APU on the market) both being available at different price points.
Really though, the exciting thing about the AYANEO 3 is that literally everything is customisable. There’s 6 different modules that go in either side to add things like a trackpad, or a 6-button fighting stick layout, and these can be totally interchanged or flipped at any point. These are available separately as a 6-pack for $159 AUD.
You can also totally change the buttons (as in the individual buttons) to create your perfect button layout and the analogue stick toppers can also be changed too.
