Fresh off announcements of the Beats Solo Buds and Beats Solo 4, Beats has now announced a new version of its portable speaker, the Beats Pill.
The new speaker has been completely redone and comes in a new 10% lighter form factor, with USB-C charging and a 24 hour battery life with two hours of playback on a quick 10 minute charge.
The new Pill has has easy compatible with both iOS and Android devices with Find My and Find My Device compatibility. Interestingly enough, it doesn’t use AirPlay which is a little bit of a surprise but it does have full Bluetooth support.
The Beats Pill also allows you to use the included USB-C cord for line-in to enjoy lossless audio, and it can also be used as a speaker phone when connected to your smart phone as well.
It comes in Matte Black, Statement Red and Champagne Gold for $249.95 AUD and it’s available to order on the Apple website here.
