Meta has announced its second edition of the Ray-Ban Meta Smart glasses. They’ll be available in Australia on October 17th for $449.95 AUD and you can pre-order them HERE.
The glasses have been redesigned from the ground up with over 150 different combinations of frame and lenses. They’re more comfortable and lighter on the face.
The speakers have been improved and are 50% louder with 2x the base and have a five-microphone array.
There’s a new 12 MP camera for improved photo taking and and the ability to take 1080p videos up to 60 seconds and you can now livestream on Facebook and Instagram right from the glasses.
They’re powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform which allows for 36 hours of use with its sleek Ray-Ban charging case.
The glasses also incoporate Meta AI so that you can say “Hey Meta” and get real-time responses on the go, but this will only be in the US initially.
