Razer has announced the new Razer Blade 16 and it’s a great looking laptop that packs some serious power.
The laptop is over 30% thinner than last year’s model at just 14.99mm thick in the front and 17.4mm thick in the back. The thinness comes at the cost of a smaller battery, but there’s faster charger and presumably a more efficient CPU/GPU that should make up for it.
In terms of performance, it features the brand new Ryzen AI 300 series processors as well as up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPUs with 24GB of GDDR7 VRAM with 155w of graphics power and obviously given it uses Blackwell tech it’ll be able to take advantage of DLSS 4 as well.
As far as the display goes, it has a QHD+ 240HZ OLED which I got to see in person earlier this week and looks absolutely gorgeous. There’s also an updated keyboard with a deeper 1.5mm travel distance (50% more travel) that felt great to type on and a new 6-speaker audio system for better listening.
There’s no pricing or release dates for the Razer Blade 16 2025 edition yet, but I’ll keep you posted as I know more.
