NVIDIA’s CES press conference takes place in just a few days time, and it’s expected we’ll see the announcement of the RTX 4070 Ti. This has never been more certain than today, after NVIDIA accidentally uploaded the RTX 4070 Ti to its website a little early. Whilst it’s gone now, a Twitter user captured it which you can find HERE.
As far as we can tell (and it’s not really surprising), the RTX 4070 Ti looks to be the 12GB RTX 4080 that was “unlaunched” after it was announced earlier this year, due to backlash over how different it was from the 16GB version of the RTX 4080 (reviewed here).

According to the leaked image, the RTX 4070 Ti will have 7,680 CUDA cores and 12GB of memory. According to a graph, the 4070 Ti will outperform the 3080 by 3.5x when playing Cyberpunk 2077 in the new RT Overdrive mode and roughly double whilst playing Microsoft Flight Simulator and Warhammer: 40,000 Darktide.
No release date or price was revealed for the RTX 4070 Ti, but we’d expect it to launch fairly after CES. Originally, the RTX 4080 12GB was set to cost $1,659 for the Founder’s Edition. We should know more after NVIDIA’s CES press conference which takes place at 03:00am AEDT on Wednesday, January 4th.
If you’re after an RTX 4080, Mwave currently has a great deal on one at $300 off. You can find that HERE.
