Following in the footsteps of its remake of the original Xbox Duke controller and Xbox 360 controller, Hyperkin has now announced at CES 2024 that it is making a new version of the Xbox Controller S, which released after the Duke controller, initially in Japan then in the rest of the world.
It’s called the ‘DuchesS’ controller and it will look almost identical to the original Xbox controller although it will now have hall effect joysticks and triggers and it’ll obviously work with modern consoles like the Xbox Series X|S and PC. There will be a share button for Xbox consoles as well as a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
It seems as though the release date will be a little bit away, as the company has only announced that it is in production and no release date or price is in sight, but given Hyperkin’s track record in getting these out for the last few iterations, we have no doubt that it’ll make it onto shelf at some point.
