Kayo has announced another price increase, this time announcing that Kayo Basic will rise to $30 per month from February 1st, 2023 rising from $27.50 per month.
Kayo will also be introducing a cheaper way to access the service in the Kayo One tier priced at $25 per month, which allows you to access one stream on one device.
Kayo Premium will allow you to use Kayo on three devices and set you back $35 per month.
As it stands, if you’re an NRL or AFL fan, Kayo is still obviously the cheapest way to get access to these sports, especially if you’re sharing with another person.
WHY IS THE PRICE OF KAYO BASIC GOING UP?
Here’s what Kayo had to say about the rise in prices:
“As we look to bring our customers the world’s best sporting content and continually improve the Kayo user experience, we are making an adjustment to the Basic subscription price from 1 February 2023. ”
“The increase reflects ongoing investment in content for Kayo to deliver two concurrent streams of the biggest local sports like the AFL and NRL and the best from around the world including Formula 1, Cricket, NBA, Golf and more. In 2022 there was 25 per cent more live sport made available on the platform compared to the previous year. Kayo also invests significantly in its product and technology with new features and enhancements that aim to continually improve the streaming experience.”
