Razer has today announced its most premium webcam, the Kiyo Pro Ultra which offers uncompressed 4K video footage at 24FPS.
Razer says that it rivals DSLRs with its 1/1.2-inch Sony sensor (the largest ever in a webcam according to the company).
Alongside 4K/24FPS video, it can also delivery 1440/30FPS as well as 1080p/60FPS (or 30 with HDR).
Technically speaking, the Elgato Facecam Pro can do 4K/60FPS, but this footage is compressed and that webcam also has no microphone. The microphone has a pretty nifty shutter where you can turn the webcam frame in order to close it, which is a much better solution than the normal lens cap.
There’s a heap of other features like a true bokeh effect that will blur your background without the need of software as well as advanced face tracking and auto exposure.
