The Sonos Beam Ultra Soundbar And Sonos Ace Ultra Headphones Have Been Revealed And Here’s The Aussie Prices

Sonos has announced two new products in the Sonos Beam Ultra soundbar and Sonos Ace Ultra headphones in addition to a bunch of new updates coming to its audio system software.

SONOS BEAM ULTRA

The Sonos Beam Ultra is a new soundbar with 7.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos, 9 custom drivers including two up-firing drivers (a big deal for Dolby Atmos), a redesigned centre channel in addition to AI speech enhancement as well as improved bass and a wider soundstage. You can also now use portable surrounds such as the Move 2 or Play speakers with the Beam Ultra or Arc Ultra to give yourself wireless surrounds.

The Beam Ultra will come in black or white and costs $1,099 AUD with pre-orders available right HERE. 

SONOS ACE ULTRA HEADPHONES

This is a big improvement on the original Ace headphones with them now offering a new Headphone Engine 2 + Wi-Fi system that can tap directly into your home Sonos system rather than the Bluetooth connectivity that used to exist with the original headphones.

There’s also a new 40mm driver, an upgraded 10 microphone array, stronger Adaptive ANC (2x the original headset), with 35 hours of battery life with ANC on, and a fast charging 3 minute charge that results in 3 hours of playback in addition to a new Adaptive EQ setting that adjusts how the headphones fit around your ears.

The Sonos Ace Ultra headset comes in Black, Soft White, Agave and Sand and costs $699 AUD with pre-orders available HERE.

In addition to these two new products, Sonos also announced Sonos 27 which brings major updates to its system including a redesigned app, the ability to use portable speakers as rears, the headphone linking updates, AI/voice functionality and a new manual EQ setting mode which people have been asking about for years.
