Valve has confirmed that the Steam Frame will start at $1,609 AUD for the base unit with the first units getting shipped later this week.
You can sign-up between now and Friday to go into the ballot which will be drawn on Friday, before the first units go out. You can sign up HERE.
As far as prices go, there’s two SKUs available coming in at $1,609 and $1,969 respectively with both units also including Half Life Alyx which will get a standalone version at some point.
There’s also a range of accessories including the Power supply which is available separately (you can use any 45w charger), the ergonomics accessory kit which includes head straps and controller straps, and a core accessory replacement pack.
As a reminder, this is a Wireless VR Headset that can stream from your PC, and it can also play games standalone on the headset as well.
