Health tech company Withings have today announced BeamO, which is set to revolutionise the health industry. The announcement was part as part of CES 2024 which has just kicked off.
BeamO is for use with telehealth appointments and combines ECG, oximeter, stethoscope and thermometer sensors comining a 4-in-1 health check-up of temperature, heart and lung health in under a minute.
Users will be alerted to possible fever and infection and will detect possible cardiovascular issues, including atrial fibrillation (AfiB) (following TGA-clearance), which is one of the most prevalent forms of arrhythmias, and provides alerts in case heart rates are abnormal.
BeamO will launch in Australia in 2024 with pricing from AUD $449,99. We’ll let you know when we have a more concrete release date.
The BeamO joins the likes of the Withings ScanWatch 2 and Body Comp Smart Scales that have both made their way to Australia in recent months.
